Mar-Jac Poultry is pleased to announce that it has earned an A level certification through the British Retail Consortium (BRC) under the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The GFSI is an effort to standardize food safety and food production chain audits. As a part of that effort, various organizations submit to the global governing body their auditing schemes for approval. To obtain an A certification through BRC, all aspects of the operation at Mar-Jac Poultry are checked against global standards for food safety, integrity, and commitment to the high standards of both BRC and GFSI from the floor level employees to top management. Mar-Jac Poultry is proud to have achieved this certification as it shows not only the quality and integrity of our company, but also our commitment to maintaining the highest standards possible throughout Mar-Jac.
